Oldham Council is seeking an experienced Adults Manager to join our Adult Social Care (ASC) team on a peripatetic basis. Initially, you will be based within the Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), primarily screening safeguarding referrals. However, you must be flexible and ready to be deployed across other ASC teams based on service needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage safeguarding work within the Adults MASH team.

Undertake complex Care Act assessments and decision-making.

Provide expert guidance in safeguarding adults and risk management.

Ensure compliance with statutory duties and local safeguarding procedures.

Step in across other ASC teams when required, offering strategic and operational support.

Essential Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration.

Extensive experience in adult safeguarding and complex case management under the Care Act 2014.

Strong assessment, screening, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to work flexibly across different service areas.

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
