This role exists within our central belt of Scotch Manufacturing sites that includes distilleries, maltings and bio energy plants across multiple locations. This role exists to ensure all sites are electrically compliant in accordance with current legislation and Diageo Global Technical standards. This would ensure compliance in areas such as; Electrical legislation compliance HV / LV; Functional Safety (SIL); DSEAR and hazardous area inspections; Machinery safety (PUWER).

There will be responsibility for site audits to ensure compliance and you will own an annual audit programme. The role holder will also work closely with 3rd party providers and ensure they are set up to deliver our electrical safety needs.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a keen eye for safety and compliance? Join a team where your expertise truly matters and make a real impact!, You will provide solutions and be the domain authority for site teams in electrical safety and electrical legislation and ensure that sites can demonstrate and maintain compliance. This means you will be an adept communicator with excellent organisational and multi-level partner engagement skills., * Formal Electrical qualifications, such as 18th Edition, HND in Electrical Engineering and/or proven experience working within the electrical industry are essential for this role. * Experience of working in an electrical environment in a Manufacturing/FMCG or similar industry would be beneficial. * Firm understanding of Legal requirements such as Electrical Safety, COMAH, PUWER, Machinery Safety, Functional Safety (SIL), DSEAR, HV / LV and hazardous area working. * NEBOSH qualifications are desirable but not essential. * Ability to travel across central belt.
