Butler Rose have been appointed to recruit an Income Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in our Bristol office, this position is offering some remote working with 2 days a week on site in Bristol.

As a Management Accountant, you will take ownership of income reporting, monthly management accounts, and provide key insights to senior stakeholders. You'll ensure data accuracy, support the annual audit, and work collaboratively across departments, particularly with the Income Operations team and Finance Business Partners.

Responsibilities include.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of income in monthly management accounts and the annual report.
  • Own the monthly reporting of key income drivers, analysing variances and trends.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and present findings in regular meetings.
  • Provide detailed explanations for income variances against forecasts and budgets.
  • Support year-end processes including audit preparation and balance sheet analysis.
  • Prepare supporting analysis for accrued and deferred income and other relevant items.
  • Highlight any risks or opportunities to the Head of Financial Planning & Reporting.
  • Maintain and improve the structure of monthly management accounts.
  • Raise and issue invoices, applying correct VAT treatments.The successful candidate is likely to be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) fully qualified, but you will still be considered if you are qualified by experience.
