* Proven track record of managing complex transport or infrastructure projects within a public sector or multidisciplinary environment
* Strong technical knowledge in transport planning, engineering, or related fields, with the ability to provide expert advice to senior stakeholders * Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, with the ability to tailor information to different audiences * Financial and budget management experience, including forecasting, monitoring and reporting on large-scale project expenditure * Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including mentoring, coordinating consultants, and promoting a positive working culture * Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of transport projects, ensuring alignment with council policies and strategic objectives Requirements: * Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client's discretion * Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a specialist technical area, including delivery of high-value or high-profile transport or infrastructure projects * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work semi-autonomously, manage budgets and risk, and lead projects to time and within financial constraints
