Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with Stockport Council to recruit an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their dedicated Fostering Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified social worker with strong fostering experience to support foster carers and ensure the best outcomes for children in care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers.
* Undertake Form F Assessments and support recruitment of new foster carers.
* Carry out statutory visits, unannounced visits, and annual reviews.
* Work in close collaboration with childrens social workers, education, and health professionals.
* Participate in fostering panels, training delivery, and support groups.
* Maintain accurate case recordings and meet statutory timescales.

Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW, BA/MA Social Work).
* Social Work England registration.
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Work.
* At least 2 years' experience working within a Local Authority Fostering Service or Independent Fostering Agency (IFA).
* Strong knowledge of fostering regulations, National Minimum Standards, and safeguarding frameworks.
* Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
