We're looking for an Agent - Temporary Works to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Bridgwater.

 

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset 

Hours: 45 hours per week

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Agent of Temporary Works, you'll be working within the Environment team, supporting them by being responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary
Works on one of England's biggest flood defence schemes, The Bridgwater tidal barrier. .

Your day to day will include:

  • Co-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teams and designers & all Temporary Works activities
  • Ensuring that the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by the relevant parties (Temporary Works Designers, TWS and Construction team etc.);
  • Management of of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures and client requirements
  • Advising the permanent works designer of any temporary conditions, or loads, that should be considered within the permanent works

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Agent - Temporary Worksis great for you if:

  • You have previous experience working with main contractor in on Civils/Marine projects
  • You have a degree qualification in civil engineering equivalent is desirable – one or more of: BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng, Tech, MICE, TIStructE, LCIBSE
  • You have completed CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course & have a thorough understanding and application of the CDM Regulations 2015
