???? Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum + Shift Allowance + Bonus

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer looking to take your career to the next level?

We are recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join the team at a state-of-the-art critical environment in Hemel Hempstead.

Continental Shift Pattern offers excellent work-life balance, with only 14 shifts per month:

• 4 on, 6 off, 4 on, 4 off, 6 on, 4 off

Includes both day and night shifts, and you'll only work 2 weekends per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with site standards

• Issue permits and manage safe systems of work

• Complete PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance

• Maintain and troubleshoot critical systems including:

  • UPS & Generators

  • Cooling Systems

  • Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting

  • Pumps, Motors, Transformers, Substations

About you

• Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer

• Experience in a critical or highly regulated environment

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and permit systems

• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
