Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical Assembly and fitting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assemble various mechanical and electrical components working from engineering drawings and BOMs to produce completed pump assemblies in line with production schedule/build requirements.

  • To carry out stripping/preparation/termination of various diameters of electrical cable and continuity testing
  • Mechanically minded, with a keen eye for detail with the ability to think on their feet to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Carry out general fitting/assembly operations using a variety of handheld, power/air tools with the ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instructions, check lists, visual aids.
  • Recording and accurate completion of dimensional and quality/test check paperwork, time sheets etc.
  • The use of overhead cranes and forklift trucks to move large and heavy items around workshop.
  • The loading and unloading of vehicles as required
  • Ensuring all activities/tasks are carried out in line with all company HSEW policies and procedures.
  • The completion of other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the company.

Hours :

Monday-Thursday: 08:15 am-16:45 pm

Friday: 08:15 am- 13:45 pm
