Finance Business Partner

Salary: £50 - 60k depending on experience

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite in Manchester city centre)

Job Type: 12 Month Fixed term contract with potential to go permanent.

Butler Rose are working with a key professional services client who are seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join their team and support key stakeholders with strategic financial insight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into actionable business decisions and working closely with senior leaders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with practice groups to support pricing, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide regular reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for allocated teams.
  • Deliver insights on client, matter, and team profitability.
  • Communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Support financial compliance, audits, and process improvements.


What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally in professional services.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
