Our client, a key player in high-security infrastructure projects, is seeking a DV Cleared Lead Mechanical Engineer to join them on an initial 4 month contract with the potential for a permanent or rolling contract position., * Lead and manage a team of up to 10 Mechanical Engineers across a secure, complex building services environment
* Oversee stakeholder engagement including contractors, clients, building operations, and subject matter experts
* Deliver detailed mechanical design in line with RIBA stages
* Provide expert input on ventilation, cooling and control systems
* Drive the project forward, creating solutions in challenging environments and adapting to evolving requirements
* Maintain a hands-on approach to support delivery when required
* 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and building services * Strong understanding of ventilation, cooling and building control systems * Experience working in protected or defence facilities * Mechanical design experience aligned with RIBA stages * Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills * Must hold active DV Clearance
