My client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, specializing in construction, property, and infrastructure. With a rich history spanning decades, They are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Government Buildings, and more.

Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team. As a key member of the team, you will lead the design and development of electrical systems for large commercial and industrial buildings, including both new constructions and refurbishments. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual looking to take the next step in their career and make a significant impact within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical design process for building services projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Develop innovative design solutions to meet project requirements and objectives.
- Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and schedules prepared by the team.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor project progress and ensure quality and compliance.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Significant experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartered status is desirable.
- Expertise in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design tools.
- Thorough knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671), with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset and ability to drive projects forward, from concept design through to completion.
