About the Role
My client are looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong track record of leading projects, delivering high-quality work, and contributing to successful commissions. You will play a key role in their multidisciplinary MEP team, offering technical expertise and design leadership across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects within your discipline and collaborate with the wider project team.
* Work independently with minimal supervision, managing all technical aspects of your role.
* Provide design and technical advice, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to project delivery.
* Supervise and support the completion of detailed designs.
* Assess project feasibility and lead overall feasibility studies.
* Take responsibility for producing detailed and performance specifications.
* Review design programmes and ensure resource availability for successful project completion.

Your Team
* You will be part of a talented MEP team in Cambridge, working alongside mechanical, electrical, and public health engineers.
* As part of a national network of nearly 400 MEP engineers, you'll have access to industry-leading expertise and professional development.
* They value integrity, diversity, and a commitment to excellence, providing a supportive environment for career growth.
* Their Cambridge office offers easy commuting options, located within a 10-minute walk from Cambridge Train Station.

Technical Requirements
* Strong knowledge of UK and European regulations relevant to the discipline.
* Experience with electrical design software, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD.
* Ability to sketch and communicate technical details effectively.

Electrical Skills
* Low voltage distribution systems and standby generation.
* UPS systems, lighting calculations, and cable calculations.
* Fire alarms, intruder detection, access control & security systems.
* Data cabling, disabled call systems, and lightning protection.

Qualifications
* BEng/BSc/MEng in a relevant engineering discipline.
* CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council accredited honours degree or equivalent experience.
* Working towards IEng or CEng status.
* Training in Revit MEP applied to the discipline.
