An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join the Children's Services team in Derbyshire. This role is vital in supporting disabled children and young people to live as independently as possible within the community.

Location: Derbyshire
Rate: £37 per hour (LTD - negotiable based on experience)
Contract Type: Locum / Temporary
Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with disabled children and their families to promote independence

Support maximum development across physical, psychological, social, and economic aspects of life

Deliver person-centred assessments and intervention plans tailored to each child's needs

Maintain high standards of professional practice within the Occupational Therapy service

Collaborate with other professionals and services to ensure comprehensive care

Support and advise families and carers on appropriate strategies, adaptations, and equipment

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of Occupational Therapy experience

Experience working within children's services or with disabled young people

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

Excellent communication and assessment skills

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
