Apprenticeship Specialist

* As the Apprentice Specialist, you'll provide a professional support service to all colleagues undertaking an Apprenticeship within Technical Services. You'll provide pastoral support and guidance to apprentices and you'll partner with line managers and external learning providers to ensure our apprentice training needs are met and they are on-track with their learning. You will have a genuine interest in supporting learners to get the most out of their apprenticeship combined with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Main Duties
The Apprentice specialist will work as part of the L&D team with duties including:
* Partnering with key stakeholders across Technical Services to promote apprenticeships as a learning and development intervention for colleagues
* Use your expertise to bring fresh thinking to deliver our apprenticeship strategy
* Run regular check-in's with learners across Technical Services and guide them along their learning journey. Tackle escalations of issues when required and manage internal queries
* Work closely with the central Apprenticeship team to ensure localised plans for Technical Services are aligned with Group Strategy
* Supporting managers to identify issues and celebrate successes
* Reporting on apprenticeship learning ROI, working with HRIS and other internal teams to gauge impact on retention, engagement and other relevant measures
* Maintaining up to date information on the company intranet whilst partnering with Internal Communications around specific campaigns and awareness drives
* Support in the maintenance of apprenticeship and training processes and procedures
* Challenge administrative processes as appropriate to implement more effective ways of working
* Plan and manage the Technical Services early careers pipeline and manage the cohorts in line with agreed processes, procedures against agreed service level agreements.

* Some knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship is desirable but not essential
