Job Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to support to operations and support the Facilities Manager in delivering the day-to-day tasks for a portfolio of client properties on the account. The Assistant Facilities Manager will also support the wider team in the delivery of all Health & Safety requirements including, updating risk assessments, employee training and LiveSafe cultures.

Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in Managing the portfolio of facilities within their area of responsibility, to ensure they are aligned to the Mitie business unit operational processes and procedures, in line with the contractual obligations.
* Assist the facilities manager in ensuring building compliance and employee training as required.
* Carrying out support for remedial and reactive works as well as following through PPM tasks.
* Ensuring the service delivery is in line with KPIs and SLAs.
* Assist in auditing and closing out actions from compliance audits.
* Liaison with contractors, stakeholders, management teams and the internal team.

What we're looking for:
* Experience within Facilities Management.
* Maintenance/Engineering/Mechanical/Technical knowledge or hands on experience.
* Having achieved or currently achieving the IOSH/NEBOSH qualification.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Well organised and strong coordination skills.
* Computer literate, proficient in MS Office packages and using CAFM systems.
* Experience within Facilities Management. * Maintenance/Engineering/Mechanical/Technical knowledge or hands on experience. * Having achieved or currently achieving the IOSH/NEBOSH qualification. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Well organised and strong coordination skills. * Computer literate, proficient in MS Office packages and using CAFM systems.
