Multi Skilled Engineer
Ref: 82f6209490ae4c5e84bacd14af483e40We are looking for a Skilled Engineer to work on providing a reactive and planned pro-active maintenance (PPM) service as per project requirements to all operational assets. You will liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and perform electrical, mechanical and instrumentation maintenance.
You will be expected to provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines, alongside carrying out modifications and installations as and when required. You will ensure that work is carried out to a high standard of quality in line with current legal standards, company policies and procedures. You shall maintain and maximise equipment availability through improved efficiencies to maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plants - optimising both reliability and maintainability.
You should be able to provide excellent customer service to building occupants and ensure they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner and be able to do the job right the first time, within a pre-determined timescale. You should also be able to proactively walk the floors and report any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk/appropriate manager.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working within commercial properties and installations, and a good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within the role. A strong understanding of building Statutory Compliance and HSE management in accordance with our Quality Management System is preferable. A flexible/adaptable approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive) is also preferable. You must hold a full UK driver's license. Suitable training and up-skilling may be given, as and when required, to achieve full competency.
Gas : NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance.
AC/HVAC : NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance - Essential.
Electrical : NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship - Essential. 18th Edition - Essential.
Plumbing : NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing - Essential.
