About the Role
As a Lab Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our QA lab. From preparing solutions and testing equipment to managing waste and keeping our lab glassware spotless, your contributions will directly support our production and quality goals. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a fast-paced scientific environment.
What You'll Be Doing
+ Preparing laboratory solutions and ensuring they're ready when needed
+ Performing functionality checks on essential equipment (balances, pH meters, fume hoods)
+ Managing glassware cleaning and maintaining a well-stocked store area
+ Handling waste disposal tasks and solvent management
+ Keeping asset schedules up-to-date and training records 100% complete
+ Reporting any EHS concerns, near misses, or incidents to your line manager
+ Working flexibly to support production needs without impacting timelines
+ Following ALCOA+ principles to ensure all work is accurate and compliant
What You'll Bring
