Air Conditioning Engineer
Ref: 80fd3e30a5184916aa801479cfbd3513We are recruiting for a new Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Mitie Team based in the Bradford/Burnley area.
As an Air Conditioning Engineer , you will carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures. Driving & promoting Mitie's One Code which is integral to our companies values and behaviours. Whilst performing tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectations, at all times working compliantly within Health and Safety policy/legislation.
What are the main duties?
* You will be efficiently operating and maintaining new and existing building AC/HVAC services.
* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance on HVAC appliances.
* Carry out diagnostic checks and fault finding.
* Participate in out of hours call out rota and complete all work-related documentation accurately on time.
* You will be responsible for conducting routine PPM tasks in accordance with the SGF20 framework as well as reactive maintenance and electrical/air Conditioning repairs as required.
* You will be able to carry out necessary works and cooperate with Mitie disciplines.
* You will assist the site team and ensure client operational procedures are adhered to. You will also complete risk assessments and worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate would have a Refrigeration or Air Conditioning specific qualification e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning or Small Refrigeration.
It is desired you would hold an electrical qualification, also a UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential as driving is 50% of the role.
