Senior Finance Business Partner
Ref: 4ac756e94dba45ff8b3df6fab3d2c260Enhance financial planning, decision-making, and control by providing valuable management information to stakeholders across the organisation., * Conduct the annual budget setting process for the partnered units.
* Deliver high-standard finance business partnering services, including budget setting, business case development, comprehension of financial reports, budget holder training, financial approver maintenance, monthly forecasting, and providing advice and insight to budget holders.
* Provide ad hoc analysis to stakeholders in the partnered units, often combining financial and non-financial data to deliver clear and impactful information for improved decision-making and planning.
* Produce accurate monthly forecasts for the partnered units following the agreed timetable.
* Maintain an accurate record of financial approvers on the finance system for the partnered units.
* Review and seek regular feedback from stakeholders on the usefulness of the suite of financial reports available to budget holders.
* Oversee the AR invoicing and bursaries.
* Full membership of a professional accountancy body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent)., * Finance business partnering to non-finance professionals. * Handling difficult conversations with stakeholders. * Undertaking costings and providing financial analysis for business cases. * Working in close partnership with other professional functions (e.g., HR, IT) with a supportive and collegiate style. * Reviewing processes and recommending improvements. Skills: * Strong IT skills, including the ability to use MS Excel for modeling purposes. * Good technical accounting skills.
