SYSTEMS ENGINEER (SC CLEARED)

My client is a leading communications company excelling in the cyber and information assurance space, renowned for their cutting-edge electronic encryption solutions.

They are currently on the market for a 2 Systems Engineer Contractors to join the on a 3-6 month contract focused on requirements management & product development. This will be based in Farnborough.

THE ROLE

A key aspect of this role is mastering requirements engineering-defining and shaping the technical solution across all design disciplines. You'll be hands-on throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept to verification. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure the project meets its time, cost, quality, and performance goals.

  • 3-6 month contract (Outside IR35)
  • Rates Negotiable
  • Hybrid Working

Due to the nature of the projects the successful candidates MUST HOLD CURRENT SC CLEARANCE (UK EYES ONLY)!

SKILLS REQUIRED

My client are looking for 2 Systems Engineers with the following experience:

  • Proven Expertise: 5+ years of industry experience in a relevant field, backed by a degree-level qualification.

  • Systems Engineering Mastery: Comprehensive experience across the systems engineering life-cycle, including requirements management, system design, and product validation/verification.

  • Cross-Disciplinary Insight: Strong understanding of design disciplines within hardware or software product development environment.

  • Security Cleared: Sole British Nationality required for UK eyes-only projects; SC clearance must be valid.
