Being a Watersports Instructor  

Working with kids requires energy, confidence and effort; but we guarantee it’s never, ever boring. 

You’ll enjoy overseeing our diverse range of fun water sports either on the sea or local lakes; from sailing, dragon boats, kayaking, canoes & SUP. Or maybe lifeguarding, based either Barton Hall in Devon, or Windmill Hill in East Sussex - interacting with our guests, encouraging safe water play & swimming activities in our pools.  

You won’t always be on water; you could also be running land-based activity sessions, lighting campfires, building shelters, singing songs or lending a helping hand to your hospitality colleagues. No two days will ever be the same.   

Are you a PGL person? 

You’ll need a ‘RYA Dingy Instructor’ qualification or ‘British Canoeing Paddle Sports Instructor’ award or a ‘National Pool Lifeguarding’ qualification. Apart from that, no experience needed, your character is what we value most. PGL people are:
