You will be working with Partners Eubie and Sharon Saayman, plus 4 Vets, 6 Nurses and 3 receptionists and 2 practice managers. The clinical team is very strong and is headed up by Eubie who studied at Onderstepoort Pretoria in South Africa, and has been qualified for 20 years.

The Role:

We would like to welcome an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Practice Owners and be supported by our skilled Practice Manager and clinical team to deliver high-quality veterinary care to patients and our clients and mentoring junior vets to fulfil their potential within the practice.

Ideally, you would have experience in more complicated surgical and medical cases to support our more junior members of the team. And as Lead Vet, you’ll share innovative ideas with the practice partners to enhance performance and care standards, in addition to collaborating with the Practice Owners and Manager to drive the practice forward.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum, with twice annual reviews
  • Welcome bonus up to £5000 for direct applicants only 
  • No Out of Hours (OOH): Focus on your work-life balance with no OOH requirements or Sundays
  • Professional Development: Further study towards veterinary management courses or clinical qualifications will be funded and encouraged. Professional registration fees will also be fully funded.
