Registered Veterinary Nurse
Ref: vets4pets-46844Based on the busy Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park in the Pets at Home store, we can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking.
You will be joining an existing team of 3 vets (1 certificate holder), 4 RVNS and 3 brilliant student nurses at varying stages of their training. We are supported by a passionate team of client care advisors who step in to help out the back when the day is going south!
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from SVN’s with turning around theatre, patient prep. We optimise opportunities for Schedule 3 procedures as much as we can, and the nursing team really are the drivers of the workflow and patient care.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
This is a Part Time Saturday only role working 2 in every 4 from 9:00am till 6:00pm
