Working in a sensitive defence contract environment, the key purpose of the Vetting Team Leader is providing operational support and supervision to ensure the highest standards are maintained in the operation and delivery of the Security Vetting Administration Service function

Delivering excellence to all stakeholders whilst maintaining the integrity of the services. To provide a level of service that meets customer care requirements and carry out other duties as agreed between the client and Securitas, at all times displaying the company's core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness

How you will make an impact as the Vetting Team Leader:

  • Provide advice and support on all aspects of the vetting policy and process

  • Maintaining, developing and monitoring relationships with all internal and external agencies

  • Collate, record and verify all documentation relevant to the role.

  • Delivery and verify all briefings in relation to the role.

  • Display an outstanding level of customer service at all times.

  • Primary point of contact for all vetting queries.

  • Management of the Security Vetting Team

Candidate Description

  • Required to be a British National

  • Good level of education to include 4 GCSEs or equivalent, Grade C or above (English must be included) or relevant Security experience in excess of 3 years

  • Experience in a Client facing role within the corporate environment.

  • Flexible, professional attitude and adept at working under pressure.

  • Outstanding written, verbal and oral communication skills

  • Client oriented with a passion for high-level service.

  • Pro-active approach, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.

  • Self-aware and motivated, able to participate in teams fully to achieve results.

  • Have excellent influencing skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and fully engage with all levels of a corporate environment.

  • Have the ability to explain security policies at all levels within a prestigious organisation.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.,

  • Experience of working within a Security environment

  • Experience of working within a corporate environment

  • Requirement to obtain MOD Security Checks (SC) Clearance
