To support RWM Site Evaluation team in the implementation of the Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) site evaluation process in the UK. Responsible for the editing and verification of technical documents, the site evaluation reports, together with coordinating and delivering document review and quality assurance processes.

As a Technical Editor - Site Evaluation, your main responsibilities would be: + Editing technical documents + Editing, proof reading and verification of technical documents produced to support the Site Evaluating work completed by RWM. + Providing feedback to internal colleagues following editorial and verification work in a timely and constructive manner. + Development of templates and style guides to support the production of high-quality outputs. + Coordinating and deliver document review processes + Supporting the Siting Managers in the coordination and delivery of document review processes. This will include liaising with internal technical subject matter experts as well as external stakeholders such as the supply chain and local communities. + Supporting the delivery of peer reviews of technical reports, such as RWM site evaluation documents. + Coordinating and deliver Quality Assurance processes + Supporting the Siting Managers in the coordination and delivery of RWM internal Quality Assurance Processes. This will include liaising with internal technical subject matter experts as well as external stakeholders such as the supply chain. + Working with colleagues in the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Directorate to support the development and publication of Site Evaluation documents in compliance with RWM standards.
You'll have relevant experience in: + Good first degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent experience. + Membership of an appropriate professional institute or interest in being a member in due course. + Knowledge of the principles of data and records management. + Experience of and ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide audience + Experience of publishing processes + Good understanding of information and knowledge management systems as they might apply in the context of RWM. + Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. + Excellent attention to detail
