Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Security Supervisor, our Security Officers will man the sites of our global client in Cambridge.,

  • The Security Officer will manage the day to day running of the site, working as part of a team, monitoring internal CCTV, issuing/managing visitors & contractors access.

  • Escorting visitors across the site when needed.

  • Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour

  • Retaining full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or any other external agency.

  • Monitoring loss and waste - reporting any incidences.

  • Patrolling

Candidate Description

Requirements of Security Officer:

  • Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management

  • Ability to stay alert

  • SIA License

  • 5-year checkable employment history

  • UK Driving License - travelling between University of Bedfordshire & University of Hertfordshire.

  • Experience working within the education sector (preferred)
