RNAS Culdrose is a Royal Navy airbase, located near Helston on the Lizard Peninsula of Cornwall UK, and is the largest helicopter base in Europe. Serco play a key role in offering aircraft support and aviation and engineering facilities to the Royal Navy's maritime Merlin aircraft fleet. We are currently looking for a qualified Merlin Aircraft Supervisor to join our talented team. As the successful Supervisor, you will be experienced with the Merlin Aircraft as an engineer. We have an opening for a Merlin Aircraft Supervisor to join our team! The successful post holder will be responsible for fulfilling the role (by Trade) or Off Aircraft Workshops Supervisor (by Trade) in accordance with Depth Operating Procedures (DOP), individual Engineering Authorisation Certificates and the Serco Management System (SMS). Candidate Description

To be considered for this role you must have worked on a Merlin Aircraft for at least 6 months during the preceding 24 months in accordance with MAOS Military Regulations Part 145. It is essential that you have attained a Service Certificate of Competency (CoC) or successfully completed a local Serco Supervisory Management and Aircraft Documentation Course and CoC Board. You must have proven knowledge of Merlin aircraft engineering and engineering support equipment, with a good working knowledge of the following: Merlin Aircraft Systems (by Trade), Lean Operating Procedures and Naval Air Publications and Compound - Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (C-IETP). Furthermore you must have working knowledge of Health and Safety, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices and Engineering and Asset Management Systems. It is essential to have completed a Maintenance Human Factors Course.
