The Strategic Account Director will be responsible for relationships among people, groups, or departments that have been joined together for the mutual benefit of the business and client, you will demonstrate strength, expertise diplomatically, and be comfortable working collaboratively with the client for the common good.
The role will cooperate with Clients developing strong relationships to include managing projects, negotiating agreements and developing Commercial Account Plans that install account growth and client efficiencies
You will play a pivotal role in bringing our purpose to life, working collaboratively to influence and coordinate the required work across the portfolio. The role will directly work in partnership with teams across the business and have responsibility for and contribute to the overall strategic direction and operational performance across the Portfolio - supporting customers to thrive.
Developing people and team plays a fundamental part of the role
The Strategic Account Director will advise and help clients realise their potential opportunity with Securitas articulating the benefit across their security, fire and safety spend profile, helping them also to achieve their business objectives.
The role will develop appropriate joint pricing strategies for all services and review the Service Level Agreements (SLA) against services provided by Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
You will be responsible for identifying and maximising business development opportunities within the client portfolio and focusing on the clients experience to bring innovative and practical solutions.
The role will be expected to build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with the client and maintain frequent contact with their Senior Executive team.
You will be comfortable providing the client with real value which includes actively proposing and helping to implement new and innovative solutions. Using judgment you will be able to highlight any significant issues and put forward any recommendations and work in collaboration with teams to help find an appropriate solution.
You will exercise a range of core, key and strategic clients/ relationships and have a thorough understanding of the security industry and associated British Standards which will enable you to deliver compliance throughout the portfolio.

Engage with the customer's organisation and decision makers, utilise business and industry skills to create new opportunities
Negotiate regular price reviews and take responsibility for ensuring debt is paid to terms
Understand the customer's business objectives, cultures & decision-making process, identify stakeholders & key decision makers, in depth knowledge of their purchasing strategy and competitive market.
Create a detailed and long-term account plan and engagement plan across the entire account
Provide total account support focused on the service delivered to the customer and maximise customer satisfaction levels.
Analyse, identify and create productivity and efficiency savings across the account for the benefit of the customer and Securitas and utilising expertise available across all Securitas businesses.
Understand the financial and legal requirements of the Account.
Ensure that the customer is presented with coherent and professional MI statistics in relation to account performance / Performance Management Systems.
Create effective working relationships between the different members of the virtual 'reach back' account team to continue to drive and improve account team productivity and ensure the customer receives a consistently high standard of service.
Applying excellent client integration with the appropriate Stakeholder to align Securitas business standards and values with the specific clients / accounts own policies and procedures designed to increase consistencies throughout.
