To work with Customers, colleagues and partners to design and agree solutions which enable our Customers to transform their businesses in line with their strategies.
The Solution Architect (SA) will be allocated to deals and their role is to be the a key member designing and delivering end to end technical and service solution for multinational enterprise customers . The role will be responsible for working within Presales directly with customers in order to design, document (HLD) and agree solutions to that can be offered to customers.
The SA will be responsible for discussing, shaping and capturing customer requirements and writing designs that meet those requirements by deploying Vodafone products and solutions. As well as the technical elements, the SA will ensure the solution considers all aspects of a solution (ordering, delivery, commercial and service/operations. A key deliverable is to ensure all key stakeholders approve the design and that the solution proposed is fit for purpose and can be readily deployed and operated by Vodafone.
By being a part of the bid process the SA will complete required documentation (RFP/RFI), answer Customer questions and queries and generally support the bid team as the technical lead. Once in delivery the SA will support the wider team with any technical queries which may arise and be an advocate for the Customer within Vodafone.
A Customer facing role with a high exposure to the customer
With us, you will:
Work with the customer to determine and document requirements and then design solutions to meet those requirements.
Document solution in a High Level Design responses, proposals and Statement of Works
Ensure solutions are deliverable in timeframes committed and have passed all appropriate solution governance. Solutions should be scalable, repeatable, and utilizing existing standard services as much as possible.
Identify, mitigate and document any risks to the solution
Ability to agree designs with internal stakeholders and senior technical customer personnel
Interpersonal skills and teamwork with multinational teams - preferably within an agile model.
Detail orientation, able to capture and identify all aspects of the solution.
Ability to both influence, and show resolve under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure solution designs are deliverable
Must have core expertise in designing or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas::
IP Networking (WAN, LAN & WIFI)
Security solutions (SASE, Cloud based solutions)
Experience of the following area desirable:
Vodafone products and solutions (IP VPN/WAN)
SD WAN (Cisco/Juniper) or other overlay technologies.
Industry trends and awareness (5G, IOT, MPN, Mec)
Cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Tools and process for solution design and costing
