Senior Planner

Job Description

Company & Project: An established main contractor operating across multiple sectors, are seeking to recruit an experienced an effective Senior Planner to complement their infrastructure team across multiple projects. The project includes a variety of infrastructure projects including but not limited to roads, drainage, rail works, roundabouts and bridges. The business has a strong project pipeline for the next 12 months alongside multiple projects on-site at present. Duties & Responsibilities: The opportunity in the first instance will see the successful candidate responsible for monitoring programmes and on-site project delivery. You will be responsible for running risk analysis, monthly cost outputs, tracking earthworks and reporting to the client on a monthly basis, alongside liaising with the site team on a daily/weekly basis to produce further detailed programmes and progress reporting.

Candidate Description

• Demonstrable experience project planning on infrastructure projects.

• 10 years+ experience with main contractors either in planning roles and/or project management with a strong focus on programming.

• Ideally from a Site Agent, Site Engineer or Construction Management background.

• Good working knowledge of ASTA PowerProject.

• Previous Roles: Site Planner OR Senior Planner OR Project Planner. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or HNC in Construction or relevant qualification.
