We have an opportunity for a Security Officer, who will report directly to the Security Supervisor based in Aberdeen. This individual will be tasked to deal with all aspects of customer enquiries and bookings.
As a Security Officer, this individual will be responsible for providing access control to the Port Facility and any vessel berthed within the port facility in accordance with the UK Department for Transport, Maritime Security Resilience Division (MSRD) Security Instructions and Operations Manual.
This is an opportunity for an individual who has excellent customer services experience and a natural communicator.
As a key part of the customer facing Serco and Northlink Ferries team, you will also be provided to promote our values and vision at all time. The postholder will also ideally have previous experience within a customer services environment, with a good level of education (especially Maths and English).
Although this individual will ideally hold a SIA, this is not essential.

NorthLink Ferries has been run by Serco since July 2012 and is an operator of passenger and vehicle ferries, as well as ferry services, between mainland Scotland and the Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland.
