You will report into the sites security operationu2019s manager.To deliver results for their identified area that meets or exceeds the budget and service delivery requirements through full responsibility and accountability for:u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse u2022To deter violence and public order offencesu00a0u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To patrol the store and other areas and to undertake checks in accordance with the site assignment instructionsu2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To deter till snatchers, trolley push outs and other bulk theftsu00a0u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To record any suspicious activity on to an incident report ensuring the correct information is captured using the SMART system and store management are informedu2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manneru2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To be conversant with the Electronic Article Surveillance tagging system and complete regular checks of tagging standardsu00a0u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Monitoring the store CCTV where appropriateu00a0u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Complete retrospective CCTV reviews focusing on shrinkageu00a0u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0To be clean, tidy and properly dressed wearing full uniform, Sainsbury's name badge.
