This role will be responsible for delivering insightful analysis which drives efficiencies and improvements across the FTTP Business. It will collate information from all lines of business as well managing and maintaining this information for SD FTTP. Ensuring visibility is across all lines of business The role requires a technically minded individual, that has expert skills in insight creation, modelling, forecasting and planning. The role holder will have oversight of the full end-to-end planning process and be managing multiple stakeholders daily
You'll have the following responsibilities
Putting the customer first in all aspects of planning and control.
Defining and delivering complex analytical planning and forecasting operating models to a defined business unit, programme or project which provide relevant and meaningful insight that leads to efficiencies in the balance between supply and demand.
Ensuring Supply and demand are understood and providing insightful analysis within these areas to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the operating models.
Delivering to key stakeholders within Openreach across the E2E forecasting and planning remit.
Chasing the necessary stakeholders to provide the information required on a monthly basis to form an E2E view
Ensuring stakeholders have all the relevant information and insightful analytics available to them, which empower them to make operational decisions.
Being innovative and looking for new opportunities that bring about efficacies within the operating models across the lines of business.
Looking for opportunities to simplify processes to bring about efficiencies
Ability to act and react quickly within an ever-changing environment and taking ownership around the delivery of E2E process.
Challenging the data and ensuring accuracy and ensuring data sources are reliable in line with one point of the truth.
Ability to understand the granularity of the data and presenting this to the wider business with confidence.
Collating all the information from each line of business within SD and maintaining this information's accuracy
This role will drive an exceptional customer experience by designing / enhancing and implementing controls across the full End-to-End (E2E) process of Fibre to the premises (FTTP),
Has a proven track record delivering high quality forecasts and plans with a deep understanding of the operational dynamics of a business.
Proven design and implementation of forecasting models and pulling multiple lies of business into one view
Proven track record of improving business through insights specifically strategic problem solving, were problems were complex / ambiguous / unstructured
Proven Excel and SQL skills, and a demonstrable expertise in advance statistical packages such as R
Highly experienced in areas such as: predictive analytics, regression, customer segmentation, single customer view, AB testing, basket analysis, clustering, time series analysis and other relevant statistical techniques
Has an excellent ability to influence decision makers at Director / Executive level
Has significant experience of operating and thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment and can continuously re-prioritise whilst maintaining a constant focus on client satisfaction
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to analysis and improve multiple lines of business and the processes, influencing stakeholders as required
Confident, proactive and adaptable
Articulate, literate and professional always
A strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work on own initiative
Committed to the achievement of excellence
University degree (2.1 or higher) from a highly regarded university in a numerate course such as: economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or a related quantitative field (would be an advantage)
