To further strengthen our UK Research Team, we are seeking a high-calibre research professional to join our Residential Research Team. This team is a close-knit team of problem-solvers and strategic thinkers who strive to make things better, and no task is too big or too small. The team works across CBRE with the common goal of providing data-led strategic insights and an excellent service to both CBRE's clients and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for providing clear and insightful analysis for the residential real estate sector. The successful candidate will gain immediate exposure to a variety of initiatives working across products and business units. They will be expected to use property data intelligently, from both internal and external sources, to produce insightful research outputs, presentations, and client consultancy related work. Undertake a range of research initiatives and outputs across the residential spectrum.
Support the wider team in consulting work and client presentations.
Analyse the impact of macroeconomic and market trends on the residential market; coherently translate findings verbally and in written form.
Collaborate with an experienced, team of residential professionals to develop in-depth market knowledge of the residential market.
Write research sections for reports and external publications.
Contribute to department thought leadership papers and specific research projects.
Work closely with other members to improve the team's processes and systems.
Play a role in the development of CBRE's data platform.
Be responsible for managing ad-hoc data and research requests.
Be responsible for helping to maintain the team's databases and Tableau dashboards.
A graduate, preferably with a background in statistics and data analysis, with a strong understanding and/or formal qualifications in database and visualisation packages such as SQL, Tableau and Alteryx.
Ideally with minimum of 1 years' experience in a residential or research-based role, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Proficiency in data collection, manipulation, analysis and visualisation.
Good numeracy and writing skills, with the ability to present data, information, methodologies and results effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
A collaborative and inclusive style to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to be flexible, and work well under pressure to manage workload.
Accurate with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, or similar packages.
