Job Description

  • QHSE champion and Subject Matter Expert on-site

  • Ownership of CBRE technical / statutory compliance on-site (including latest COVID requirements)

  • Management and monitoring of emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control etc.

  • Conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required

  • Internal audits for compliance and safety, incl. driving corrective actions

  • Drive hazard reporting and mitigation

  • Ownership and mitigation of all risk registers

  • Review and implement process improvements where necessary

  • Manage subcontractor QHSE & technical compliance

  • Site induction process & performance (CBRE team and subcontractors)

  • Lead on environmental compliance specifically

  • Review of PPM schedules with QHSE focus for any required changes / additions / reductions

  • Incident / near-miss investigations & reporting to client with assistance from technical team on site

  • Management of CBRE quality systems (CERM, iAuditor, Foresight, etc.)

  • Line management of CAFM co-ordinator

Candidate Description

  • Proven QHSE professional from a Data Centre / Critical Ops / FM environment

  • Excellent and topical knowledge of Quality Management Systems

  • Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements

  • A "hands-on" implementer of processes and change

  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions

  • Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner

  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members

  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems

  • Excellent motivational and people skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Management skills


  • Experienced in managing and implementing Quality Management Systems - Essential

  • NEBOSH or similar qualification - Essential

  • Knowledge of the data centre industry - Desirable
