Job objectives and responsibilities
Collaborate with, and work in partnership with Sainsbury's Security Services Manager (Equipment) to deliver high level project analysis
Engage with the business to ensure they are aware of external factors impacting on the management of crime and security projects
Ensure the business is aware, and informed, of practices employed by external organisations that enable effective project delivery
To provide an in-depth analysis of all security projects to identify opportunities for improvement and any cost savings that could be generated
Recommend changes and amendments to projects to support identified saving and improvements
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with colleagues in crime and security
To deliver results for their identified area that meets or exceeds the budget and service delivery requirements through full responsibility and accountability for:
End to end project analysis of all security projects
Support the Security services manager on a day-to-day basis
Developing and maintaining partnerships with external providers
Assessing and developing new partnership opportunities
Report on all identified opportunities for project improvement
Providing the confidence and assurance that Sainsbury's security projects are maximising business opportunities
Identifying the opportunities to reduce the risk to colleagues and customers and escalate risks identified
Developing and maintaining partnerships with retail and logistics partners
Work in partnership with the Head of Operations - Systems and their team

A recognised project analysis qualification is desirable
Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with external partnerships
Ability to provide challenge and support in a constructive way in order to influence, establish trust and seek constructive outcomes across all levels
Effective team player and leader with strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-moving services business
Strong capability in the use of technology to analyse projects
