We are seeking an experienced payroll/pensions administrator with knowledge of Public sector pension legislation and payroll knowledge. Public sector pension knowledge and experience together with customer service delivery will be key to the role. Experience of one or more of the following Local Government, Teachers, Fire and NHS Pension Schemes would be advantageous and desirable. The role The role involves being part of the Pensions Team, liaising with employees, managers and external clients. You will be responsible for providing accurate employment information to comply with statutory pension regulations. You will be involved in all aspects of pay, pensions and benefits. This is an exciting opportunity in an ever-changing payroll and pensions landscape where you will continue to learn and develop your skills and experience. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise workloads, work under pressure to deadlines with conflicting demands and deal confidently with a full range of requests responding in a mature and courteous manner in sometimes difficult situations. You must have a good general level of education demonstrating numeracy and literacy, NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent.
