The role: Operational Security Manager The purpose of our Operational Security Manager will be the interaction between CBRE, BT Security and the Security providers. They will support our security colleagues across the BT estate in providing a safe and secure workplace for our colleagues and our customers. Overseeing the security providers to develop a skilled, expert, engaged and empowered team that provide a brilliant level of personal customer service whilst ensuring BT's security policies are delivered. Key responsibilities are as follows:
The implementation of and adherence of BT security policies on BT sites, including offices and operational buildings.
Leading and managing the security providers across the BT estate to ensure that they are knowledgeable and competent and that cover at sites is maintained in an efficient manner to agreed colleague levels.
Working with BT customers at all sites to monitor and maintain brilliant levels of service delivery, coaching and developing colleagues to ensure that best practices are implemented and shared across sites.
Delivering within an agreed budget through efficient cost management
Support the selection process and partnerships across the estate
Manage the security providers to ensure delivery of service
Review of manning levels to support the operation of the new TBWP sites
Review the AI's and ensure the sites, once manned are acceptable.
Audit of Security Officers to ensure all duties are covered with trained and licensed security personnel
Check compliance with the site assignment instructions (AIs) document for each site in line with the security policy
CI training and sharing of best practice
To be the first point of contact for all security issues within the estate
ISO 9001 welfare visits and site compliance checks
SIA license holder
Experience of working in a security or FM business and managing security providers
A good track record of delivery against targets and KPIs including cost management to an agreed budget
Experience of working in a National role
