Hygiene Team Leader - Night shift Shift – 4 on 4 off (6pm – 6am) Salary: £25,768 per annum, plus an additional £2.74 per hour for hours worked between 10pm & 6am Overtime Rate: £13:70 per hour Our story Inspired by his travels and love of cooking, Charlie Bigham set up shop in 1996 with the sole aim of creating really delicious dishes for foodies – putting in all the care and attention that you would if you were to cook them yourself at home. Who we’re looking for We’re looking for a Team Leader to join the night shift on a 4 on 4 off rotation (18:00 – 06:00) in the hygiene team at the Quarry kitchen. You will be responsible for managing a small team to ensure that all areas of the kitchen are cleaned in accordance with our CIC’s. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the team ensuring training, risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place and adhered to Ensuring each area operates in a safe and efficient manner, achieving GMP standards and delivering key performance indicators Managing daily and weekly rosters to ensure appropriate cover and manage holidays Providing feedback to team members, and managers, on performance and developing improvement plans Applicants should be confident communicators able to provide clear direction and deliver briefings to the team. You should also have a demonstrable understanding of COSHH and previous experience of working in a hygiene team as well as the ability to prioritise and delegate to complete tasks efficiently in a timely manner. Previous experience of managing a small multi-skilled team would be beneficial. Ability to use a PC and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
