Sodexo's Government and Agencies segment are recruiting for a Mess manager to join the team at RAF Odiham, in Hook (near Basingstoke)., This is a true management role where you will be responsible for a team of people and also will work really closely with the client managing their expectations and delivering a high class service,

  • To plan, organise and manage delivery of all services within the Sergeant's Mess.

  • To promote and manage functions including planning, menus and costing in conjunction with the catering team

  • Manage a 96 room - live in accommodation sergeant's mess with Bar area and small catering facility.

  • To contribute to the growth of all services.

Candidate Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions independently, you will be able to work Mon-Fri 8am-4pm meaning you will have weekends off!,

  • Leadership skills

  • Experience working in a hospitality management role (hotel, pub, retail)

  • Experience of using finance systems and good numerical skills.

  • Ability to build strong positive relationships and a good good strength of character.

  • Experience of working with the military is desirable
