The Fulfillment Center (FC) Launch team has years of experience supporting high business growths and fast market entries through proven project management approaches serving both new FC start-ups and significant FC build-outs or process/service changes. Starting up and steeply ramping up large FC operations incl. C-Returns, IXD and Specialty sites is the FC Launch team's core business. For the role of a Launch Central Services PM, FC Launch we are looking for a creative and communicative leader with a knack for problem solving and a passion for world class associate experience.

This leader will support EU Fulfillment network expansion projects by running the central services program, this includes away-team (experienced T1-T3 associates and managers from legacy FCs supporting new FCs), T3 internal transfers and newly hired managers trainings and travel programs as well as internal FC Launch team projects. Therefore he or she will partner with various different internal and external stakeholders such as Launch Learning, HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Procurement, CWT and the FC Operations network to translate the role-specific training demands into an executable training concept, align hiring and training plans accordingly, subsequently direct and supervise the required travel bookings and control its cost. Moreover this leader will use their experience to further develop and improve the program which will continuously shorten project duration, save project cost, improve associate experience and contribute to higher and better predictable 1st year FC performance going forward.

This position is part of a highly visible program and will include direct reporting and communications with senior leaders in the company. You will be part of a high functioning team that is interconnected and supportive of each other to help complete complex and high capital projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • End to end responsibility for the Launch Coordination program's execution and success.

  • Work with stakeholders (FC Launch and Launch Learning Program Managers, HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Procurement and Senior Operations team) to define requirements, processes and improvements of the program.

  • Maintain team's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), manage program's execution across multiple projects and ensure all plans and processes are up-to-date and communicated to the involved stakeholders.

  • Monitor program's overall progress; anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.

  • Regularly report project health, progress, risks and opportunities to the group of stakeholders.

  • Create, communicate and account for the training and travel budget.

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure all logistics are arranged, communicated and delivered on schedule resulting in positive associate experience.

  • Source and create teams of experienced Core Away Team associates.

  • Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related issues; assist with travel-related issues or concerns.

  • Own and manage FC Launch internal process improvement projects.

Candidate Description

· Professional experience in successfully leading and developing small teams · Strong verbal and written English communication skills; clear thinking, ability to simplify complex problems for a broad audience and tailor communication to a wide spectrum of members of the organization and external partners. · Proficient with MS Excel, able to capture, structure and maintain large data sets to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little guidance and tight deadlines. · Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes. · Able and willing to travel up to 30% of work time.

· PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification · Professional experience in the Travel Industry incl. vendor selection and management · Experience working with distributed teams, often in different countries. · Experience gathering business requirements and developing scorecards and dashboards to surface meaningful KPIs and actionable intelligence to cross functional stakeholders. · Previously obtained FC start-up experience. · FC Ops process knowledge and a good understanding of the various FC Ops T1-T3 specialist roles, their complexity and the time it takes to reach certain levels of proficiency. · Leading new product or start-up related projects where processes will need to be defined, implemented and iterated.
