If so PSR would like to speak to you!, In April 2016 the Government launched a new independent Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB). As Director of Investigation for HSIB, the post holder will help to lead this dynamic team As Director of Investigations, your main responsibilities would be: + Delivering the HSIB strategy for healthcare safety investigations + Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure that investigations, reports and secondary duties are carried out in an effective manner in accordance with the principles of HSIB + Developing and leading the HSIB investigation and reporting processes + Contribute to leading the development of the vision, policy, strategy, structure and processes for HSIB investigations and reporting + Supporting the Chief Investigator in improving and maintaining the confidence of the public, families and healthcare staff in the safety investigation process + Championing the development of a culture of safety, learning and improvement across healthcare + Working with healthcare services to help improve the quality of local safety investigations across the healthcare sector

Candidate Description
