Core Responsibilities: + Work in a team creating automated and reliable versions of data flows and reports created by our Data Analysts + Work closely with our Data Architect to create and help implement a cost efficient and supportable architecture for our processing pipeline and data warehouse in AWS + Be responsible for the development and execution of analysis pipelines according to analysis design. You will work closely with the Team Lead and PMO manager to determine weekly priorities and activities + Set up and maintain automated data processes. Identify, evaluate and implement tools to support data validation and cleansing. + Work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team creating automated and reliable versions of data flows and reports created by our Data Analysts + Work at SFIA Level 4-5 (https://sfia-online.org/en/sfia-7/responsibilities)

Candidate Description

  • A Data Engineering/Architect background, eg developing/implementing data pipelines for data warehouse/ data marts, or for analytics + ETL, data warehousing, reporting experience + Ability to present data to both a technical and non-technical audience + Python knowledge/experience + SQL knowledge/experience It would be great to also have: + Public sector experience + Experience of designing, building, operationalizing, securing and monitoring data using AWS Cloud with a focus on Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon RDS, Cloud Development Kit
