Job Description

Under the direction of the Soft Services Manager or other appropriate management staff, the Mail Room Operative is responsible for delivering a service to the client and meeting the client's objectives. The Mail Room Operative will always promote CBRE values and one team culture with the client. Key Tasks:

  • Sort incoming post & parcels log items using SendSuite software

  • Sort and deliver mail including bulky mail, recorded, special and courier items to all required locations

  • Use handheld scanner to record the delivery of parcels

  • Prepare outgoing mail, special & recorded, DHL and same day couriers

  • Collection & handling of confidential waste as per the written procedure

  • Assist with meeting rooms set ups

  • Assist with distributing weekly posters across all floors

  • Independently manage stationery hubs across all floors

  • IT Checks to commence at 07.00. This consists of testing equipment inside all meetings rooms and proactively logging faults

  • Ad Hoc requests from Soft Service Manager to support Building Operation Decision Making/Budgetary Control: Able to manage own work load & prioritise work Ability to work to deadlines (Role requires no budgetary control) Success Measures/Objectives: Exceptional Scores on all monthly Postroom SLAs as per the Contract Post room kept tidy and undelivered items locked away Positive customer feedback Core Competencies: Understanding customer needs, ensuring we are constantly in touch with what our customer wants, and service delivery in a timely manor
