Job Description

The Control Room Supervisor is a permanent role with 42 hours guaranteed where you will provide leadership and line-management to a team of Controllers and successfully deliver CCTV operations.

How you will make a difference as a Control Room Supervisor

  • Take responsibility for helping to achieve solutions and make positive change.

  • Identify short and long term trends and take action to make progressive changes for the SOC and its customers.

  • Have operational knowledge of all the functions within the Control Room.

  • Be held accountable for KPIs, ensuring all Operatives are managed to ensure outstanding performance and service.

  • Conduct performance evaluations as well as monitor attendance and performance of each employee through 1 to 1s and performance management processes.

  • To actively recognise outstanding achievements through Community Awards nominations.

  • To accurately record and manage overtime for your team and department.

  • Have an understanding of company policies and ensure. implementation in relation to performance and absence.

  • Manage sickness and absence from work including return to work and welfare support, be responsible for annual leave authorisation and planning of resources ensuring sufficient resilience.

  • Provide support to the Service Delivery Manger in achieving deliverables.

  • Any other duties as directed in support of SOC work and objectives.

Candidate Description

  • Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance.

  • SIA CCTV Licence.

  • Experience of working in a Control Room and Security environment.

  • Supervisory & leadership skills, demonstrating a coaching style.

  • Motivated, self-starter with a vision to shape the future.

  • Evidence outstanding customer service skills.

  • Have commercial awareness and experience in sales & business growth.

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and superior organisational abilities.

  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage and deliver conflicting priorities.
