As Conduct of Operations Lead, your main responsibilities would be: + The running and implementation of the Route to Green Pathway Plan. This will include the implementation of four deliverable plans for each of the focus areas (Human Performance, Leader in the Field, Control Room Standards & Alarm Management and Handovers) in line with the disciplined operations standards. + Within the above focus areas, you will assess current guidelines / instructions, see how they are currently being adhered too and if there are any challenges, what improvements could be made in order to ensure these conducts of operations are being followed correctly. + Provide coaching or workshops to assist with adherence to Conduct of Operations. + The person will also be responsible for facilitating the HLWP Conduct of Operations Steering group bi-monthly. + Bi-monthly reviews are also carried out with the Conduct of Operations 'Champions' where progress against the plans is monitored and any issues may be highlighted, however the person must work closely with these 'champions' between the reviews to ensure progress is being achieved + Provision of specified services to internal/external customers, to agreed standards. + Maintain awareness of developments in own trade and apply to own workplace where appropriate.

Candidate Description

  • The candidate needs to be self-directed, have good presentation skills and be IT proficient, including use of spreadsheets and power point. + Is competent to provide a service to the business through a project to meet business objectives to agreed standards (following certain KPI's). + Must have attention to detail and be thorough in their work. + Confident in being able to assess, coach others and to drive improvements. + Experience in a regulatory industry like nuclear would be preferred. + Must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance, current SC Clearance would be preferred.
