Job Description

The purpose of the role is in brief to advise all parties considering delivering both large scale residential developments as part of a mixed-use scheme through to boutique sized schemes of a wholly residential focus. These instructions encompass both pre and post planning permissions scenarios. We are seeking a person who ideally has experience working in the London Residential Development market with good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority. They must have the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring deadlines are met and maintains a positive attitude to routine tasks. Importantly, we are seeking someone who is proactive, enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team ensuring the work produced is accurate, detailed and offers solutions and recommendations when required and not just detail around the factual world., The key responsibilities for the role will be to provide development consultancy services on the following stages of the residential development process

Candidate Description

  • Market research reports, including: o Placemaking o Sustainability & wellness o Technology o Property market trends o Purchaser demographic analysis o Comparable data

  • Pricing analysis and recommendations

  • Sales rate / sales absorption analysis and recommendations

  • Target market research, analysis and recommendations

  • Architectural design recommendations o Unit Mix o Size of Units o Development massing o Architectural style o Amenities and services o Security o Estate management o Landscaping

  • Interior design o Market trend analysis o Design recommendations o Cost benefit analysis Person Specification/Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge on London residential market

  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Experience working within Residential New Homes would be an advantage

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority

  • Diligent and pro-active

  • Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative

  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
