Apple is seeking an experienced marketing professional with a track record of building world-class campaigns to join our growing team. This role will own day-to-day responsibilities for leading the global launch campaigns for upcoming European series across a diverse range of content. It is based in Apple's London office. You will be leading the marketing strategy for shows developed by Apple's European Content Development team, acting as the central cross-functional liaison across teams (Marketing, Publicity, Product, Social, Development, Production, Business Affairs, Legal) with a focus on handling workflow and driving integrated marketing plans that drive buzz and viewership for Apple Originals around the world. You'll be a key point of contact with agencies and creatives (show runners, creators), working closely with them to collaborate and communicate different facets of the campaign throughout the lifecycle of the show. You will also be supporting original shows and films from our U.S.-based development team and will liaise with marketing teams across EMEA to optimize marketing strategies and creative for these territories. You've been responsible for marketing high-profile entertainment properties and are able to craft a clear and distinctive show positioning, creative strategy and informed media approach that cross-functional teams can execute and collaborate upon. You know how to tell stories, on any platform that drive fan anticipation and engagement. A natural leader, you can listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on overall strategy and goals. You have an intimate knowledge of the European television landscape. Your love for television and pop culture pushes you to thrive in a quickly moving environment., Lead the resourcing and prioritisation, oversee scope, budget, and campaign resources necessary to launch and manage lifecycle of shows. Oversee team cross-functional initiatives. Anticipate resource and staffing needs, troubleshoot issues, and get necessary approvals. Prioritize resources and work outputs and determine key deadlines, and deliverables requirements, work back schedules to create and communicate realistic timelines for execution. Manage cross-functional team planning across campaigns, including leading key meetings, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals. Develop in-depth marketing strategy briefs including positioning, audience targeting, comms strategies, research / cultural analysis; socialize strategy and creative output with cross-functional teams as well as with key stakeholders including executive teams, development, producers/creators, filmmakers. Work in partnership with creative teams to lead creative development and oversee collaborative internal and external partner execution of multi-media content assets that extend the show across paid/organic initiatives, ensuring materials are aligned to show positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points. Establish meaningful metrics for campaigns. Partner with media team to develop brand and performance driven media plans that effectively promote the shows. Liaise between LA-based and local teams to ensure Apple Originals are appropriately supported across key EMEA territories. Collect EMEA's teams insights, advocate for and oversee production of bespoke assets. Ability to work across time-zones and cultures.
Extensive experience in consumer marketing, with prior direct responsibility for launching original entertainment properties.
Extensive knowledge and experience running robust portfolio of creatively led 360-campaigns, from show strategy to executing the tactics, both paid and organic, and delivering results. You have marketing subject matter expertise with exposure and understanding of the complete integrated marketing lifecycle:
Developing strategy, positioning and target audiences for consumer campaigns at scale
Developing brand partnerships, promotions, activations and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties, including retail extensions, experiential opportunities, push notifications, email, and editorial placements
Develop strategies for organic social and digital spanning content creation, community and audience development
Cross-functional collaboration across PR/Communications, adjacent business teams, content producers and creators (show runners, filmmakers). Experience working directly with talent, representation and creators to partner on campaigns
International experience or experience working with international teams.
Stellar executive written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas simply in presentations and documents across a range of partner perspectives -from creative to business / quantitative.
Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving.
Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail.
Inventive self starter, willing to roll up sleeves.
Demonstrated leader with established track record and career progression, with a shown ability to collaborate and partner cross-functionally in our highly matrixed organization.
Fluency in other European languages a plus., Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus
