This role is for nightshifts working 18:00-06:00 with 4 on, 4 off shifts.

Supports the delivery of the transport KPI's by providing accurate, timely and meaningful administration support to the Depot. Uses a variety of systems and processes to input, produce and maintain accurate information. Liaises with Depot colleagues and Line Managers providing information and responding to queries in a professional and efficient manner.

What I need to do

  • Able to access required data and operate in accordance with transport legislation, transport systems and transport policies.

  • Ensures relevant information relating to transport legislation is available in a timely manner and highlighted at the appropriate level.

  • Can input to, use and report from all relevant systems.

  • Produces transport data to inform decisions.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of relevant legislation and works within site compliance, e.g. drivers hours and working time directive

  • Inputs to and produces accurate colleague hours information.

  • Maintains accurate filing and printing routines.

  • Liaises with support and external functions to achieve results, e.g. agencies, suppliers.

  • Communicates in a timely and effective way, using a variety of methods including telephone, face-to-face or email.

  • Supports the site regarding activity in the local community

Candidate Description

  • Ability to use a range of systems, including Microsoft Office, Tachomaster, Isotrak, SMART etc.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to generate ideas regarding improvements and make recommendations
