Working in busy construction site, the key purpose of the Traffic Coordinator is to control a busy site entrance, booking vehicles in and out of site, marshalling vehicles within the busy site compound, keeping accurate records.
To provide a level of service that meets customer care requirements and carry out other duties as agreed between the customer and Securitas, at all times displaying the company's core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
How you will make an impact as a Traffic Coordinator:
Support the Clients employees, Contractors and any visitors to site
Ensuring that the client's vision for Tailgating is embed and sustainable.
Prevent and deter unauthorised access to specific areas.
Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
You must be reliable, punctual and must stay well presented at all times.
You will be required to work in a customer-facing environment and will need to deal with situations politely, tactfully and with discretion.
Ensuring the requirements of visitors to site are being adhered to by access control measures and identification checks.
Have the ability to communicate at all levels.
Turnout and bearing to be always of the highest standard in line with Securitas uniform and appearance policy.
Escort visitors as required.
Always display an outstanding level of customer service.
Report and record to the security supervisor any faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
Ensure all paperwork is completed in a legible fashion.
Provide a 5 year checkable history
Flexible, professional attitude and adept at working under pressure.
Outstanding written, verbal and oral communication skills
Client oriented with a passion for high-level service.
Self-aware and motivated, able to participate in teams fully to achieve results.
Have excellent influencing skills.
Ability to build relationships and fully engage with all levels of management.,
